The University of Nottingham has an opportunity for people who are interested in using music in dementia care to attend a very special workshop led by Bev Foster, from Canada. The University met Bev last summer and were so impressed with her achievements through the Room 217 Foundation that they have invited her to come and lead some workshops in the UK. One of these is fully booked, but they still have places on March 16th and 17th in London.
By increasing the skills and competence of people offering inputs to dementia care, these (not-for-profit) workshops could help to build capacity in a much-needed area.
