SEHTA PR: New SEHTA Board Members announced

SEHTA LOGONew SEHTA Board Members: Prof James Moore, Imperial College London, George Sampson, Quintain Medical & Dr David Tuch, Lightpoint Medical


SEHTA (South East Health Technology Alliance) are pleased to announce that we have appointed 3 new non-executive board members.

Prof James Moore, Imperial College London: Jimmy is the Bagrit and Royal Academy of Engineering Chair in Medical Device Design and Director of Research for the Department of Bioengineering at Imperial College London. He trained as a mechanical engineer and specialises in biomechanics research.

George Sampson, Quintain Medical: George has a vast knowledge and experience with medical product companies, notably APA Parafricta where he was CEO. George was also on the Enteric HTC board and is also a member of the NIHR i4i Product Development Awards Panel. George has worked for companies such as Baxter, Draeger and Stryker as well SMEs.

Dr David Tuch, Founder & CEO, Lightpoint Medical: David is the Founder and CEO of Lightpoint Medical, an innovative medical device company that has developed a ground-breaking imaging technology to guide cancer surgery. Lightpoint Medical have won a number of awards including the Innovation Award at the Medilink UK National Awards in April this year. David has significant experience in medical imaging and pharmaceuticals from his time at GE Healthcare and Novartis.
