Organisation

SEHTA has a high-profile Board of Directors, representing some of the leading companies in the industry. The day-to-day administration is handled by a full-time Chief Executive Officer, Dr David Parry, supported by a personal assistant, Haley Dwyer. Strategic matters are governed by the Board, which has been constructed to reflect as wide a representation of the sector as possible.

Future boards will be elected by SEHTA's core membership. The Board is assisted by the Stakeholder Council -- comprised of universities, industry trade associations, research-orientated clinicians, researchers and business support agencies -- which provides advice to the board.

The Board is assisted in understanding technical priorities through the activities of the Clinical and Scientific Advisory Board. This Board consists of academics, clinicians and industry and one of its aims is the creation of a Clinical and Scientific Strategy Plan for the SEEDA region.

Organisational Chart This plan will extract regional opportunities from national and international strategy plans in the sector and marry them with regional priorities, expertise and centres of excellence. The plan will be used to lobby for stragegic support and provide a focus for the creation of scientific and clinical task forces and networks. Click to find about our current Task Forces.
