Organisation
The Board makes recommendations on the strategy and future direction of SEHTA, based on input from the executive and management teams, task forces and other partners and stakeholders. When necessary, new task forces are created to address specific issues raised by the Board. Currently, the most active of these is the International Task Force comprising members of the SEHTA Board, UKTI, and SEEDA. The International Task Force have regular meetings to discuss ways by which members can develop overseas contacts and access international markets. The SEHTA team is responsible for delivery of member projects and services, day-to-day management of the company, and for designing new projects. It outsources much of the delivery of its projects to third parties.
