Accessing IMI Billions!
End : 10 Sep 2008 - 15:00
The Innovative Medicines Initiative (IMI) is a unique public-private partnership between the European Commission and the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries (EFPIA). IMI’s goal is to promote public and private sector collaboration in order to increase Europe’s competitiveness in biopharmaceutical R&D. With a budget of €2 bn, the IMI Joint Technology Initiative will support biomedical research as well as education and training in order to target bottlenecks in the R&D process.
This SEHTA meeting, supported by the MRC, will provide you with a background and detailed information about IMI, and will also fuel the creation of alliances centred around specific all topics. Ian Ragan, Director of CIR Consultancy Ltd, will provide an in-depth introduction to IMI and the application process. The target audience for this event includes academics, SME industry representatives, patient organisations, and other not-for-profit legal entities.
This event is by invitation only, and places are not guaranteed.
Venue: Leatherhead Food International, Leatherhead, Surrey
