Regions of Knowledge - CEBR project meeting
End : 10 Jul 2009 - 16:00
This meeting will bring together all regions within Europe that would like to build specific strategic focus for their cluster and who can mobilise the policy, research and business elements of the cluster to build a network around Europe.
Each proposal will bring together at least 2 ‘mature’ clusters and 1 ‘emerging’ cluster to create a focal point for their strengths. The call will fund up to 5 proposals and CEBR would very much like to help bring together consortia that complement each other and create a harmonised approach to bringing cluster strengths to a European level.
CEBR, working together with the ERRIN Network, will work with clusters across Europe to identify the best topics, build consortia and create proposals. This is only open to CEBR Members and full kick off meeting details are as follows:
Agenda
1100 – Meeting opens with round table introductions
1130 – Introduction to full Regions of Knowledge call
1215 – Lunch
1300 – Identification of key healthcare foci in European clusters
1400 – Discussion groups around key topics
1600 – Meeting close
Who should attend?
CEBR Members are welcome at this meeting – you should register IF:
- Your ‘mature’ cluster has a key healthcare strength around which it can build
- Your ‘emerging’ cluster wishes to focus on a key topic and create a strong region
This is not for all clusters and attending the meeting will not guarantee a place within a consortium.
Participation requires a commitment from THREE legal entities within your cluster (research, political and business support) and you should only look to participate if you can secure all three parties.
