ERBI Network Meeting - What does the ERBI/LBN merger mean for members?

Start:23 Jun 2010 - 15:30
End : 23 Jun 2010 - 17:00

ERBI recently announced a merger with the London Biotechnology Network (LBN), the business network for London-based life science organisations. The meeting will be an opportunity to discuss what this means for ERBI and LBN members.

The new organisation combines ERBI's 350+ members with LBN's network of over 400 organisations across a wide range of life science industry sectors. The network represents a powerhouse of commercial, clinical and academic interests with at least 60% of the UK's life science industry base, four of the UK's five Academic Health Science Centres and three of the world's top six universities.

The newly merged organisation continues to have offices in both Cambridge and London, with Harriet Fear as CEO and Tony Jones as Director Business Development. Meetings and events will continue in both London and Cambridge.

Commenting on the merger, Harriet Fear, CEO of ERBI said: 'The London and Cambridge networks are hugely complementary. This coming together, in response to requests from our members, recognises that, in reality, London and Cambridge are two parts of a single cluster. I am extremely excited about the opportunities ahead for this newly created global force in life science and healthcare.'

Venue: IQ Cambridge, Beach Drive, Waterbeach, Cambridge, CB25 9PD
