Iran Med 2007

The exhibition is called Iran Med and is held in Tehran in a month time from 11th to 14th of June 2007.

This is a good opportunity for UK exporters to meet lots of good quality contacts from the Iranian healthcare both within the private sector and within the government key players such as the Ministry of Health, Iran Red Crescent, Iran State Medical Emergency Organisation etc. Please also check the Travel Advice on the FCO website for advice on travelling to Iran should  you wish to visit the show.

Given the fact that there is only one month left, companies need to apply for their visas in good time however the organisers of the show informed me that they are quite happy to help any UK visitors with their visa inquiries as long as they apply in good time (A.S.A.P.).

Just to give you a quick overview of what the visitors can expect at the show: This year the show is said to be bigger with larger number of exhibitors (both local and Int'l). It is held in a 22000 sqm space consists of 12 halls with 600 companies exhibiting. Exhibitors are located in halls based on their activities and products. The allocation of halls is as follows:-

- Hall No. 38 & No. 35 --> Importers only - Medical Equipment
- Hall No. 38 A --> Importers and Manufacturers of Disposable Medical Instruments
- Hall No. 41 --> Importers and Manufacturers of ICU, CCU and Operating Rooms' Equipment
- Hall No. 44 (2 floors) --> First Floor: Importers of Lab Equipment / Second Floor: Manufacturers of Lab Equipment
- Hall No. 31 (2 floors) --> First Floor: Manufacturers of Pharmaceuticals / Second Floor: Importers of Pharmaceuticals

- Hall No. 40 --> (General) Medical Equipment
- Hall No. 8 --> Importers and Manufacturers of Medical Emergency Equipment
- Hall No. 9 --> Importers and Manufacturers of Medical Imaging Equipment
- Hall No. 10 --> Medical Rehabilitation
- Hall No. 27 --> Dental Equipment
