Masterclass: Valuing Life Science Technology
End : 25 Jun 2007 - 16:30
Captum is continuing its regional roll-out of its highly acclaimed Masterclass: Valuing Life Science Technology in Bristol on 25 June.
This event has been attended by over 250 senior life science business development executives and has previously been held in Cambridge, Dublin, Edinburgh, Leeds, London, Manchester, Nottingham and Oxford.
The Masterclass presents a non-mathematical overview of the principle methods used to value life science technology, businesses and licenses as well as how investors and corporate partners view the valuation process. Participants have an opportunity to value a simulated case, then watch a video of a VC and corporate advisor negotiate a deal.
The Masterclass is of most value to CEOs and FDs of early stage life science companies and their advisors, technology transfer managers in universities and the NHS, licensing executives, consultants and investors. It assumes no previous knowledge of valuation methodology, but develops an understanding of the application of Expected Net Present Value, Monte Carlo Simulation and Real Option methods.
Advanced registration is required; attendance is limited to 30 delegates. The registration fee of £300+VAT includes the Masterclass workbook, lunch and refreshments. Second and additional delegates from the same organisation receive a 25% discount; full time students receive a 50% discount.
