The UK is committed to ensuring that healthcare innovations are identified and adopted in the interests of patients. Thousands of innovations stem from the medical technology industries and those in the healthcare professions, yet the NHS is generally slow to adopt new medical technologies.

The annual ABHI Innovation Conference brings together the medical technology industry and healthcare policy makers to review the innovation landscape and consider how best to ensure procurement practice delivers the health gains available through the timely adoption of new technologies.
