Overview

Since SEHTA was founded in 2005, it has worked closely with a number of care homes and home care providers to understand their most pressing needs and aspirations and to suggest how technology might help address them. These technologies have ranged from products and services already readily available on the market, of which SEHTA has a comprehensive database, such as staff rostering IT systems, CQC reporting tools and fall alerting devices, to more specialised products and services, such as keyless door security systems, sensor-activated electronic care records viewable by friends and family, falls prevention devices and sleep analysis devices.

SEHTA is passionate about seeing improvements made to care home and home care services, not only so that residents and their loved ones can benefit from safer, more compassionate care and high quality of life, but also so that service providers can operate more efficiently and effectively, driving higher margins and ensuring the longevity of a very constrained sector.
