As a London-based medtech or digital health company do you need help with:

As part of our continuing work with the Mayor of London and supported by MedCity, to help SMEs develop their business, we will be offering a series of free 1hr 1:1 meetings that will cover:

  • Your business plan and strategy
  • Your product/service and market opportunities
  • Your immediate and longer term funding opportunities

The surgery will run from 10:00 – 16:30 on Monday 27th November at City Hall, London

Each appointment lasts for an hour. Time slots will be allocated on application and please note that places will be limited, so if you are interested, please send complete the form below and return it to: by Monday 20th November.

Talking Healthcare “ Using voice tech to improve care: GIANT Health 2017

RemindMeCare are running a 1-day conference on “Talking Healthcare: Using voice tech to improve care”, as part of the GIANT Health programme on 30th November.

Speakers include Vince Cable, Liberal Democrat leader, who will introduce the Talking Healthcare programme.  GIANT Health is a three-day healthcare conference in London featuring 300 speakers, which is taking place at the Old Truman Brewery, in London’s East End on 28 – 30 November.

SEHTA LOGO SEHTA is pleased to announce that our COO, Dr Melissa Kapoor, will be speaking at this event about “Electronic reporting and voice-to-text technologies in care settings: a pragmatic feasibility trial”.

As you know there’s a lot of interest currently in the potential of voice, such as Alexa, in healthcare. RemindMeCare is now working with Alexa and a number of large housing associations and care groups to test the potential of this new medium for improving care. To explore the possibilities and pitfalls, we’re holding a conference which will bring together all the those leading the work, including ourselves, for a day of discussion, exploration and debate.

BigB2SME Launch – First pilot project with GE Healthcare

SEHTA, Mayor of London and MedCity would like to invite you to register your interest to attend our first event designed to build bridges between small companies (including university and NHS technologists) and GE Healthcare.


  • Do you want to understand more about how to work with multinational health technology companies?
  • Is a partnership or other commercial agreement with a large multinational company something you should consider to help develop your business?
  • Are you developing a technology, product or service in artificial intelligence, machine learning or medical imaging that will help enable earlier diagnosis?

On 30th January 2018 at its School of Veterinary Medicine, the University of Surrey is holding a major partnership building event “Innovation for Health”.

Working together with SEHTA, invitations are being extended to companies interested in building collaborations with the University of Surrey to apply for forthcoming grant funding, particularly 2018 opportunities with NIHR i4i, Innovate UK and other funders.

Places will be limited, so please register your interest.  Applications will be reviewed and confirmed by a personal email no later than 15th December.




The event will include presentations from top speakers on current research, as well as the opportunities available and the resources offered by the University. 1:1 sessions and sandpit groups will explore the best response to innovation needs and opportunities. There will also be an exhibition were you will have the opportunity to interact with researchers and companies attending the event.
