The main objectives of this 3-year project are to develop and promote a Common Research Agenda and Joint Action Plan around independent living services and telecare applications as a way of meeting the needs of a healthy ageing population.
In addition, the project aims to foster transnational scientific cooperation and collaboration between regional assisted living clusters; to share and disseminate knowledge and understanding; and to develop common approaches to enhance research and policy-making in ambient assisted living.
